THE BASILISK ATE MY CAR (Illustrated Novel) - COMING SOON
BOOK: THE BASILISK ATE MY CAR
GENRE: FANTASY
Excerpt: “A picture straight from a mythical ballad; it was broken by the most unlikely of items. For, the sword was not the only glowing object. Still seated casually on the large river rock, snow falling all around and the sound of the river gliding smoothly over its icy crust the only noise in the silent forest, was the man, completely at ease with the sword and the dead monster and a staple object of the twenty-first century.
Held loosely in the man’s hand, was a cell phone. Its screen illuminated his features in a soft blue light. He heard me make a noise I wasn’t aware of (Or he was psychic. Considering the night I was having, I wouldn’t be surprised.) and looked up.
“Hey, you got a phone?” He drawled in his rough, gravely voice. “I don’t have a signal out here.”
And that, ladies and gentleman, was the death of my sanity. I passed through the looking glass without even being aware of it. And I didn’t even care.
I pulled my cellular device out of my jacket pocket. The motion was pure reflex. I’d completely forgotten it was there. The fact it was still there after the running and falling was a minor miracle. Even with a broken screen, it showed me the hour, the day, how many bars I had, and how little battery there was left.
“Tow-truck, FBI, or pizza?” I asked.”
Join the wild ride in 2025.

“It’s hot and I have sand polishing my ass.”
“You can’t feel the heat in your armor, and we haven’t been here long enough for you to have sand up your ass,” Atsa’ya said, voice carrying a strained note.
He grumbled almost unintelligibly back, “I don’t have sand up my ass…”
“Well, you have something up your ass.”
“What the hell is your problem.”
“My problem? What the piç is going on with you?”
“Gev!”
The siblings responded to the tone more than the command, jumping apart and standing at attention.
“Both of you, knock it off,” Mohad barked as he walked up the rise.”

GHOST WRITER: KYDAR (Process Book)
PUBLISHED
PROCESS BOOK: GHOST WRITER: PRINCE OF KYDAR
GENRE: FANTASY
The Prince of Kydar graphic novel popped out of thin air in a recurring dream during a rough period in my life when I was 9 years old. I have severe dyslexia. Reading, writing, math: all those important basic subjects are a struggle for me. And when this dream happened, I was going through the worst of it. Reading didn't "click" for me until 5th grade, a few years later. This dream spirited me away into a world full of magic and mystery that helped me find my voice as an artist and a person. The characters were so vivid and the story so incredible, I wanted to share my experience with other people. But at the time, I could barely write. So! I drew it! And 13 years later, in college, I self published the first chapter. Now, here is the process book with all the behind the scenes work that went into making the comic!
